Gold for the Australian Skud team

The mood was happy, there were smiles on faces,
the sun was shining, the sky was blue, with only a light breeze...
Spectator boats headed out
the start boat crews were ready to go
for one last time
there was one more race to sail before we could all go celebrate
the support boat crews had their last watch
The Thorsen was on station
there were sea planes overhead
for a change there was hardly any wind..
it was going to be a slow one
and so it was...
another regatta done for the Sonars
congratulations all round
over at the Skud course
hot colours to finish
time to go and celebrate
it was calm, water gently lapping
over at the 2.4 Mt class
the start boat crew were looking for wind
there were Aussies side by side
lets get on with it!
