The last day of Spring; the wind was crisp and gusting,
there was exhilaration amongst the Sonar fleet...
It was all looking particularly picturesque...
... the start boat was surrounded
by a fleet of perfect sails and I can tell you I measured every single one of them!
but first.. there was a bit of time for playful back and forth
.. just crawl out and fix that will you???
... as you do ...

"Going to Australia .. gotta get a sun tan...."

clearly it was time to talk tactics...

a ten minute boat dash to the Skud course,
only to find grey water and wintry washed out skies
Unbelievable !!!
The race underway, the wind was gusting ,
teams were neck and neck ..
there were minor set backs....
nothing we can't fix!!
others bravely flew their kites anyway..
Oops ... maybe not a good idea ...

the little boats were copping a battering
they were surfing home
or anywhere the gusts were taking them...

We can't think straight any more !
Tomorrow it is an 11 am start ..to beat the weather approaching !!
